With a case study from Roma Maguire, Professor of Digital Health and Care, University of Strathclyde.
Investment in Research and Innovation in digital health and care is crucial to provide avenues to develop and adapt new digital tools and services. Participation in Horizon Europe can allow collaborating teams from Academia, Industry, the Public Sector, and citizens (who involvement is key) to co-design, test and advance the state of knowledge for digital health and care.
This webinar provides an in-depth introduction to Horizon Europe, the largest R&I programme in the world and the funding calls which are especially relevant to digital health and care. The recording of the webinar and the presentation is now available to view.
Professor Roma Maguire provided a (pre-recorded) case study for the webinar and shared her insights as a Principal Investigator and Horizon Europe project partner, with helpful tips for those interested in pursuing Horizon Europe funding.
Scottish Industry, Academia and Public Sector have already secured over 830m Euros through its predecessor Horizon 2020. With both Health and ICT being areas of particularly strength.
