Outcome of the funding call for Scottish-led rapid research in Covid-19 on 25.03.2020 the Chief Scientist Office launched the Rapid Research in Covid-19 (RARC-19) funding call. The outcome was a programme of 55 Covid-19 projects recommended for funding.

The EU World Health Organisation (WHO), are leading a group to organise a global fundraising campaign to boost the development of diagnostics, therapeutics and vaccines against COVID-19. The pledging campaign will start on 4 May with the goal of raising €7.5 billion in initial funding.
