Blackwood- Telepresence Robot

Our Aim was to test a telepresence Robot for a customer alert scenario. Our customers have access to a 24/7 responder service we find that some customers  struggle to use the alert service or may use the service for non emergencies. Our focus was to reshape the way resources are used, reduce physical call outs and travel/misuse of NHS/emergency services.

Highland Home Carers - Use of SEM Scanner

Aiming to reduce preventable pain and suffering caused by pressure ulcers for at least 70% of participants in this test of change, as well as reducing the time taken to complete an accurate pressure ulcer assessment by 5 days per person by utilising a Sub-Epidermal Moisture (SEM) Scanner. In undertaking both these measures, we aim to avoid unnecessary hospital admissions for 40% of the people on the study, allowing people to receive safe and effective care in their own homes.
