Blackwood- Telepresence Robot
Our Aim was to test a telepresence Robot for a customer alert scenario. Our customers have access to a 24/7 responder service we find that some customers struggle to use the alert service or may use the service for non emergencies. Our focus was to reshape the way resources are used, reduce physical call outs and travel/misuse of NHS/emergency services.

NHS Highland - Intermediate and Out of Hours Care
Our aim was to demonstrate that technology specifically the Alcove Video Carephone and the Komp with Komp Pro could support people in their own home who would otherwise be admitted to a hospital or a care facility.

Alzheimer Scotland - Digital Cognitive Stimulation Therapy
To improve efficiency of Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) delivery across Highland by offering a blend of online and in-person programmes in a new hybrid format. This was done by delivering a 7 week block of CST to 6 people with dementia using a touch screen Smartboard.

Digital Support Planning Grids using 247 grids for those in receipt of self-directed support (SDS) to create greater transparency and accountability, supporting individuals to be at the centre of their support planning, with greater awareness around the cost of support and how their budget is being spent.

Leuchie House - iPad shortcut menu to access SMART Technologies for those with no speech or dysarthic speech.
Most of the Smart technology available to assist our guests is based on voice activation. The aim of this project was to increase access and inclusivity for guests who are unable to use their voice to access technology in the same way as everyone else.

Highland Home Carers - Use of SEM Scanner
Aiming to reduce preventable pain and suffering caused by pressure ulcers for at least 70% of participants in this test of change, as well as reducing the time taken to complete an accurate pressure ulcer assessment by 5 days per person by utilising a Sub-Epidermal Moisture (SEM) Scanner. In undertaking both these measures, we aim to avoid unnecessary hospital admissions for 40% of the people on the study, allowing people to receive safe and effective care in their own homes.

Mental Health and Wellbeing Test of Change
Rashielee Test of Change Review
There was an opportunity to support staff at Rashielee Care Home, Erskine, through the Test of Change programme. Six iPads were provided to support wellbeing, with the addition of the Sleepio and Daylight apps to assist in managing sleep health and monitoring wellbeing.

Project ECHO - Staff Mental Health and Wellbeing
This case study highlights the impact of Project ECHO, carried out with care home staff in Perth and Kinross in collaboration with Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership and Specialist Palliative Care Service (SPCS) as a way of providing emotional and psychological support to care home staff during unprecedented pandemic working conditions.
