What will I need?
In order to use the Connect Me Prostate Cancer service, you will need access to:
•A smartphone, tablet, laptop or PC
•An email address and (optional) mobile number
•A broadband or WiFi internet connection
The Prostate Cancer Pathway has been developed to support patients who have received treatment for Prostate Cancer and are now being monitored. After blood test are taken, results are retrieved from SCI Store, PSA results will be added to the Inhealthcare system when they are available. If a patients’ results are deemed unsatisfactory they will receive a message through their chosen communication methods letting them know the result, advised that the PSA result is higher than previous readings and that an appointment will be set up in 2-3 weeks. If satisfactory they will receive a message through their chosen communication method letting them know the result and asking if they have any further concerns. Depending on the communication they may receive a list of helpful links.
