The National Call Centre (NCC) function will change from 31st March 2023 resulting in the closure of the self-registration route for Remote monitoring of COVID-19 symptoms.
Patient literature with the NCC contact number should be withdrawn from circulation with immediate effect.
Anyone calling this number will hear a recorded message informing them that the service is no longer available.
The use of the pulse oximeters and patient guidance for use with COVID symptom advice may continue to be used, if clinically required, as a non- digital pathway.
Alternatively, in NHS boards where this is available, the clinically managed digital pathway will remain operational.
