University of Strathclyde Research - the experience of older people receiving telecare services during the COVID-19 pandemic
In 2021, a research project led by the University of Strathclyde's School of Social Work and Social Policy, explored how telecare services have been experienced by older people during the COVID-19 pandemic. People using telecare services in three areas of Scotland were asked about service changes they had experienced, their use of wider technology, and keeping connected during periods of lockdown.
The research report augments a 2020 TEC report, which investigated service level changes during the early months of the pandemic,  Delivering Telecare Services During the Covid-19 Outbreak.
